Last month we heard about Karan Johar being elected as Goodwill Envoy for British Tourism in India. Being an avid nature lover, Karan adopted 5 Villages on the occasion of World Environment Day at NDTV’s show ‘Greenathon 3’. Karan who was amongst the Brand Ambassador for the event, along with Shahid Kapoor & Priyanka Chopra, quoted “Millions of people in the country don’t get to see Light after dark, contribute to the Greenathon & help enlighten a Billion Lives”.
Karan’s films have always been high on scenic beauty, the reason being that he believes that nature provides the required feel in the songs; especially in his romantic hit songs like ‘Suraj Hua Madham’, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ & ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’ express his admiration for the color green. What a Nature lover, we must say!
