Promos for Koffee with Karan have already hit the airwaves which means the show is nearing its new season. Producers believe it KWK could start as early as the end of the year or otherwise the beginning of 2011. Rumors believe that regular on the show, Shah Rukh Khan would appear with his wife Gauri and children, Aryan and Suhana, both of which have not been on any television show till date. In addition, the entire Bachchan parivar will come on Karan’s show together which will be another first since Amitabh, Jaya, Abhishek and Aishwarya have never come together on such a public platform in the past.
The producers would ideally like to take the show “beyond Bollywood” and are hoping to bag some dignitaries outside the film arena. However, talks to have Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra come together and Aamir Khan and Salman Khan pair up are also possibilities that the producers are hoping for.
The exact details have yet to be worked out. According to sources, this season round, ace fashion designer Varun Bahl has been appointed to work out the fashion logistics for the show. And while in previous seasons it has run a show a week, it is quite possible that viewers may be treated to KWK twice a week.
