Mehul Kumar’s first installment of the superhit Krantiveer took audiences for a real surprise in the nineties. The film jutted out outstanding performances by Nana Patekar and Dimple Kapadia. Even the likes of Atul Agnihotri and Mamta Kulkarni managed to gain much recognition because of the film. And now, over a decade later, Kumar is about to release his second installment to the first: Krantiveer – The Revolution.
The film is set to do just the same as the first: talk about corruption and the revolution that the film desperately needs especially today. The sequel will see Kumar’s daughter Jahan Bloch making her debut as Nana and Dimple’s daughter who takes on their legacy to “clean up the system” after their death.
