Ranveer Singh has transformed himself to play Bajirao in the upcoming highly anticipated Bajirao Mastani. The Sanjay Leela Bhansali film, that also stars Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra, is set to hit the big screen on December 18th.
Along with the epic story and the incredible sets and costumes, the music of Bajirao Mastani is the perfect backdrop to tell the story of this warrior and his loves. One of the most epic is Malhari featuring Ranveer Singh. As lyricist Prashant Ingole told us exclusively, “They have won a very important battle and have returned. They want to celebrateWhenever we “marathi” people celebrate we have loads of dhol, taashey and we throw loads of bhandaara / gulaal. All the elements I have put in the song.” Adding about Ranveer’s performance in the song and movie, “Ranveer takes the madness to different level. He is such a passionate actor. One I have not seen for ages. He gets into the character so well. It is very rare.”
