Away from the glamour and glitz of Bollywood, actress Mallika Sherawat has quietly shown us her softer side by deciding to make a valuable contribution to the community this Rose Day. Along with fellow colleague Tara Sharma, she visited child cancer patients while indulging in arts and crafts and various activities to bring a smile to the kids’ faces. However, it was Mallika and Tara that ended up with the biggest smiles.
Speaking to CNN-IBN, Mallika said, “It’s about time I do something worthwhile.” Many would suspect that she is doing this simply for more publicity, but she quickly states, “And before you say I’ve come here for publicity, I’m telling you that yes, this cause should get publicity.”
