Whilst promoting her new film Australia, Nicole Kidman expressed her admiration for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. “I’m a fan of Aishwarya Rai and her film Bride and Prejudice,” she said, “I got to meet Aishwarya for the first time at the 2005 Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World dinner held in New York City. I think she’s so beautiful!”
Aishwarya recently made headlines and has won plaudits for her decision to reject an offer by L’Oreal to promote a skin fairness product. “She said that she didn`t want to promote a fairness cream especially in India where one`s skin colour is such a big issue,” said a source, “She will never promote a product that discriminates on the basis of one`s skin colour.”
Aishwarya is all set to romance superstar Rajnikanth in the movie Endhiran, soon to move for shooting to Kulu Manali. Rajni has been working out so he looks younger and more suited to Aish and one scene is scheduled to be shot showing them romancing in a brand new Mercedes. So what’s the film all about? “The film is set in 2200 AD and Rajni is a famous scientist who is madly in love with Aishwarya,” says a source, “Being the best scientist of the country, Rajni is given an important mission of creating robots which will make the lives of the human race easier. But the trouble starts after Rajni makes the robot – it falls in love with Aishwarya itself.”
