Gauri Shinde, whose directorial debut English Vinglish received an overwhelming response at the box office and is one of our best films of 2012, says that she has not planned a sequel to the film yet.
“People are interested in knowing about a sequel to English Vinglish and have been asking me about the same, but I honestly have no such plans as of now,” she confirmed.
English Vinglish was Sridevi’s comeback film as a housewife who has a rendez-vous with the English language to please her family and gain her respect. We so loved her performance we named her the best actress of 2012!
Gauri Shinde, who is married to the Paa director R Balki, says she is not yet working on a new project and is looking for ideas. When asked if her husband is giving her some ideas, she says with a grin “He has his ideas to himself. I hope he gives me one of them soon.”
