The movie Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi starring Rishi Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Vir Das and Payal Ghosh is all set to tickle your funny bones on the 15th of September. Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal will be seen in a light hearted romantic comedy for the first time in 20 years.
The makers wanted to create an environment as authentic and realistic as possible…we hear that the set of the film was created with an intention of replicating a Gujarati residency complex to get familiar with the vibe and authenticity of a Gujarati complex.
Being born in Gujarat, director Sanjay Chhel played a major role in making the set design and finalising how he wants his set to look. It was difficult to make a set which showed the lifestyle and culture of Gujaratis. The set was specially made in Surat with prior permissions to feel closer and cultural and have a Gujju vibe to the set!!
Well, looks like this is surely one fun film to watch out for!
