Ranveer Singh, currently basking in the mega-success of Dhurandhar, is in trouble again over his infamous mimicry of Rishab Shetty’s Kantara act at the closing ceremony of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa on November 28 ,2025.
An FIR has been lodged against Ranveer at the High Grounds Police Station in Bengaluru. The complaint was lodged by a Bengaluru-based lawyer Prashanth Methal.
Ranveer, who is currently prepping for his next, a big-ticket zombie flick, Pralay, produced by Applause Entertainment, Hansal Mehta’s True Story Films and Ranveer Singh, has been heard telling a friend that he doesn’t know how to end the Kantara controversy as he has already issued a public apology.
Rishab Shetty’s acceptance of Ranveer’s apology won’t help in this matter, as it has gone beyond Shetty.
