Recipe: Chawal Ki Kheer

Cooking Time: 50 minutes

Ingredients:
2 cups (400g) white rice
64 ounces of milk
5-6 pieces of cardamom
20 pieces of Almonds
20 pieces of Raisins
20 pieces of Pistachios
2 cups of sugar

Method:

1. Cook the white rice in a large sauce pan in boiling water, uncovered, until the water evaporates
2. Pour in the milk
3. Stir every few minutes for at least a half hour until the solution becomes a bit thick
4. Add the all the dry fruit; almonds, raisins and pistachios
5. Add the 2 cups of sugar
6. Let it boil for 5 minutes
7. Let it cool in the fridge for best results and ta-da your done!
