Reliance BIG Home Video (RBHV) launched the much awaited film 3 Idiots in a special 2 disc premium DVD pack on 21st July 2010. The 2 Disc pack also included a 24 page sticker book and an ‘Idioticomic’ book which tells the story in 60 pages. The special features disc was loaded with 15 amazing segments on the making of the film.
RBHV had also announced a contest in the DVD. Aptly titled ‘Aal IZZ Well’, it was organized in association with the well known tour operators Cox & Kings. Purchasing a DVD opened the door to lucrative prizes. The Grand Prize was an exotic tour of the beautiful continent of Australia. The 2nd prize included a tour of the mystical land that is Egypt, and the 3rd prize was the magical locale of Hong Kong and consumers could also win the ‘Bum Seat’ or attractive gift hampers courtesy of Classmate.
Raju Hirani, the maverick director of 3 Idiots, picked the winners today and the lucky winner of the Grand Prize was Mr. Navneet Kandoi of Kolkata. The second prize has been won by Ms. Thejaswini Unni from Mumbai and the third prize has been won by Mr. Govind Agrawal from Raigarh (C.G.)
