Though they make their debut as directors for Entertainment with a dog in the lead, believe it or not, Sajid-Farhad are petrified of dogs. Admits Sajid, “We were scared of dogs till we completed this movie. I still remember how we shot a scene with 100 dogs. Farhad and I were nervous and were shaking live leaves.”
Farhad says that their loud barking had put a certain degree of fear in them. He tells, “Whenever while driving we’d pass any road a group of dogs would chase our vehicle barking loudly. At times when we’d get into a bungalow a dog would come rushing towards us growling ferociously. So we were petrified.”
But Junior, who plays Entertainment in the film, put their fears to rest. The dog’s sensitivity struck a chord, changing their perception about the animal. In fact Sajid-Farhad, who live in a joint family, now want to keep a dog at home. “Provided our home ministers, our respective wives, give us the green signal,” laughs Sajid.
