We have a treat just for BollySpice readers! In a cool video interview Devil aka Salman Khan talks about his film Kick, the high-octane, action rom-com, which hits theaters on Friday. Directed by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film also stars Jacqueline Fernandes, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddique.
First the synopsis: Billed as an awesome, roller-coaster ride of action, intrigue, suspense and romance, Kick’s intriguing story takes as its core premise a man’s desire to live life to the full and get a ‘kick’ out of every opportunity that comes his way. Salman Khan plays the character of ‘Devil’, an adrenaline junkie who is addicted to risk, be it in his job or in his personal life including a romance with Shania (Jacqueline Fernandes). They have a whirlwind romance, until one day he breaks up with her for a new ‘Kick’ and walks away never to return His need for that Kick results in many misguided and miscreant acts culminate in him becoming a thief and dicing with the law in a dangerous and daring game. What ensues is a cat-and-mouse style chase, as Devil is pursued by lauded police officer ‘Himanshu’ (Randeep Hooda – Highway) as well as entering into a turf war with local gangster ‘Aslam’ (Nawazuddin Siddiqui – Gangs of Wesseypur). With death-defying stunts, state-of-the-art VFX, picturesque locations and multiple avatars played by the delectable Salman Khan, ‘Kick’ promises to be a complete wholesome entertainer with an engaging plot and superstar Salman Khan at his best – as an action hero and romantic lead.
