In what could be one of the hottest Southern jodis of the year, Tanushree Dutta has signed up opposite Vishal for his upcoming movie Theeradha Vilaiyaattu Pillai. The muscley hero has also attracted Neetu Chandra and will have a third heroine who will be a newcomer. “We are holding talks with a newcomer for the role of another heroine, and it will all be confirmed within couple of days,” says director Thiru. The film hits the floors in early August.
Tanushree will also be spending her summer working on the horror movie Rokkk, which also features the newly-invigorated Udita Goswami. “Every actor wishes to do different roles and show their potential in a vivid manner,” Tanushree explains, “Similarly I was open to doing different roles and this fell into my lap. I’ve always wanted to do a horror film and I got this opportunity through this film. I am looking forward to this film and am very positive about it. I love the genre and am highly fascinated by all the ghostly things.”
The perky young actress is also looking forward to the release of Jag Mundra’s The Apartment, a psychological thriller. “It is a very different kind of role and is a psychological thriller,” she confirms, “I have always tried to work in different genres, and I was excited about this film right from the time I heard the script.”
