The 70’s were a turbulent time for the nation as people grew disillusioned with their government and the movies of the times reflected this change. This Manoj Kumar film dealt with all the relevant issues of the day, but the poster reflects the melancholy with the gradation from dark to light. Each of the characters looks off into the distance with a hopeful light shining on them. If the film wasn’t subtle then poster sure didn’t have to be!
