6. Vinay Pathak (Mithya, Dasvidanya, Oh My God, Rab Na Bana Di Jodi)
The Bheja Fry actor was another member of the Mithya cast with his oft-times companion Ranvir Shorey of Ranvir Vinay Aur Kaun? fame. Mithya was perhaps the year’s best seriocomic thriller. Vinay also appeared in the much under-rated Dasvidanya where his performance shone. He finished the year in SRK’s grandstanding Rab Na Bana Di Jodi in the comic role of hairdresser Bobby Khosle. Around about the same time, he also delivered an excellent comic performance in Oh My God which more-or-less got overlooked on its release. Look out for Vinay next year in Pappu Can’t Dance with Neha Dhupia.
