A brand new video for ‘Money’ a fast paced techno number from Anurag Kashyap’s upcoming film Ugly is out now. The video features scenes from the film which are in-sync with lyrics that talk about the ugliness and self-centered nature of man. The video has a dark theme and shows how money rules human nature.

Featuring protagonists like the kidnapped girl Kali’s parents- Tejasvini Kolhapure, Rahul Bhat, the cop played by Ronit Roy, father’s best friend Vineet Singh, Kali’s uncle Siddhant Kapoor & the mother’s best friend Surveen Chawla the video shows a search for the child which eventually ends up in a blame game.
Singer Christopher Stanley’s powerful voice takes the song to a whole new level. ‘Money’ is composed by GV Prakash Kumar and written by Gaurav Solanki. The film has fantastic disco and drum beats that are perfect to get the audiences grooving. The video complements the theme of the song showcasing how selfish people are.
Ugly, a film which drives its inspiration from the darker aspects of life has been doing rounds of various film festivals since its international release. Having impressed audiences everywhere, the film will now release in India this Friday.
