Sources have reported to TOI that esteemed director Yash Chopra was admitted to a hospital on October 13th. The 80-year-old was suffering discomfort after he attended the grand celebration of Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday on Wednesday night. Mr. Chopra was originally resting at home but then was moved to the hospital for monitoring.
He was admitted on Saturday and is under the care of the doctors at Lilavati Hospital. According to a statement from Yash Raj Films’ spokesperson, “Mr Yash Chopra was admitted to hospital yesterday after being diagnosed with an attack of dengue. He has been kept under observation. He is feeling much better and should be home soon.”
