Priyanka Chopra has denied reports that she has signed up for the film Two States.
The actress confirmed to the media that she would not be starring in the film, that is set to feature Shah Rukh Khan. “I am not in discussion with anyone regarding Two States. There is a great team involved, including Shah Rukh Khan, Sajid Nadiadwala and Vishal Bharadwaj and I definitely look forward to working with them at some point in the future.”
Priyanka Chopra went on to say, “However at this time, I am just committed to completing my existing projects on hand, which include Kunal Kohli’s next Barfee, and Krrish 2.”
The film Two States is based on the book ‘Two States: The Story of My Marriage’ by the author Chetan Bhagat. The book tells the story about a couple, from two different states in India, who are in love and want to get married against their parents wishes.
Priyanka Chopra will next be seen on the big screen in Don 2: The Chase Continues alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Lara Dutta, Boman Irani and Kunal Kapoor. The film is set to release on December 23rd 2011.
