The vision Shah Rukh Khan shared at the press release of Luv Reels has reminded fans, media and his peers just why he’s a superstar, and the answer is that it has to do with more than just his talent. King Khan shared his noble vision to give a credible platform for aspiring artists in the industry through the made-for-television movies that have been produced by his production house Red Chillies Idiot Box in conjunction with Milestone Movies Pvt Ltd and are set to air on popular youth channels starting July 3rd.

“I feel that it is very important to encourage young talent in an industry where there is such fierce competition. Keeping that emotion in mind, we are very happy to associate with the channel to launch careers of fresh talent,” said the actor and producer at the press release.

These films have given breaks to aspiring actors, actress, singers, composers and many more. Selection process for the project occurred through online mediums with intense auditions. Shooting of films have been done in both London and Mumbai.

Speaking on this occasion vice president of the channel, Aditya Swamy, stated, “Young people are always looking for fresh forms of entertainment and who knows the pulse of this audience better than the audience itself. Luv Reels is India’s first user generated film series and it could potentially be the start of something very powerful.”

The films will air every Saturday starting July 3rd. Channel details have not been clear yet and the team have merely stated that the movies will appear on ‘Youth Channels’. BollySpice will bring you more updates as soon as news is revealed.
