Abbas-Mustan are pulling all the stops for their next film release Players. The director duo are set to get the Hollywood actors from The Italian Job to join in with the promotional activities of the Bollywood remake.

Hollywood actors Mark Wahlberg, Charlize Theron, Edward Norton and the director of The Italian Job, F. Gary Gray, are set to arrive in Mumbai in November to promote the movie alongside the cast of Players, which includes Abhishek Bachchan, Bobby Deol, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Bipasha Basu and Sonam Kapoor.

A source told the media, “The producers have done all the negotiations in secret. They have paid a hefty amount for the remake rights. The makers of Players want The Italian Job franchise to be associated with the Hindi film, at the time of its release. It would be a big boost for Players.”

Vikram Malhotra, of Viacom 18, confirmed the news to the media saying, “We are discussing the possibility of getting the stars of The Italian Job to India, before the release of Players.”

Players is an action thriller that is set to release on December 23rd 2011.
