Living up to every man’s wish fulfilment, stunning former Miss Sri Lanka and Aladin actress Jacqueline Fernandes loves to cook and will lock herself in a kitchen for hours at a time. “Though she tries her hand at everything, a must have at Jackie’s house are the Sri-Lankan specials like Kiribath, coconut sambol ,or the sweet kavun,” says a friend, “They are absolutely to die for.”
After her successful debut in Aladin, Jacqueline is looking forward to working with Riteish Deshmukh in the romance Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai. She says she’s enjoying her new found fame but is keeping her feet firmly on the ground. “It gives you a high for sure, but you know at the back of your mind that fame can be addictive and there’s a very real possibility that it could spiral out of control,” she explains, “When you’re in the line of fire everyday, your every move is being judged, you have to juggle crushing schedules, it’s hard not to lose it from time to time.”
Jacqueline wowed the public with her cover shot for Grazia recently. Dressed in a flowing yellow Valentino gown with a plunging neckline that started in Mumbai and ended in Chennai, she can be seen clutching a Dior bag and looking set to kill. Her future in Bollywood seems assured.
