Chakravyuh reminds Abhay Deol of college days

Actor Abhay Deol says that he always wanted to participate in social activities and campaigns that addressed social issues. That’s one of the reasons why the actor signed Prakash Jha’s Chakravyuh.

Says Abhay, “Chakravyuh took me back to my college days. It reminded me of those days when I was 19-20. That time, I used to participate in rallies and campaigns because I always wanted to be a part of such social activities.”

“I chose films as a career so that through films I can give a good impact to the society by portraying such issues through my films. That’s the reason why I did Chakravyuh,” adds Abhay.

Chakravyuh is a political thriller starring Arjun Rampal, Abhay Deol, Esha Gupta and Manoj Bajpai and is tentatively slated to release in October, 2012.
