Barely had Ashish Chowdhury gotten over the tragic death of his sister and brother-in-law, who were brutally murdered during the heinous Mumbai Terror Attacks, before he was off to South Africa to shoot for Seasons Greetings. The naturally upset actor sobbed all the way to South Africa on the plane. In his mind, he was unsure of how he was even going to face the camera. However, he managed to get his game on and was bang on target when the cameras came on and he was required to perform. In fact, his performance is so flawless that the audiences could never have guessed he was grieving at that time.

The year began with the birth of his son on January 2nd. This managed to bring a smile to his family who was going through a hard and traumatic experience. However, he was faced with another dilemma a few weeks later when his mother fractured her spine along with his father, who also has some minor injuries, after they both slipped in the bathroom. The actor is, however, staying positive. He refuses to cry and feel sorry for himself. Instead, he is looking forward to the future. Chowdhury has a few interesting movies in the pipeline, his son who has brightened up his life and his niece and nephew to watch out for.

The T.V turned big screen actor has definitely seen his dose of ups and downs in the last few months. With time being the greatest healer, we are sure that his family and he will bounce back.
