Priyanka Chopra is working hard to achieve a boxer’s body in her latest role as boxing champion Mary Kom. According to sources, Priyanka is working very hard to develop abdominal muscles to portray Mary to the hilt.
A source told NDTV, “She is taking her fitness to another level. Priyanka is charged up for her role. If she hasn’t found time in the day to work out, she hits the gym even in the middle of the night.”
Priyanka is known for picking unconventional films and it seems she is ready to take on the challenge of portraying Mary Kom. It has been said she will train alongside Mary Kom herself in order to prepare further for her role.
Speaking at a press conference, Priyanka said, “I do at least one film which is challenging for me every year. Mary Kom is that film for next year. If you meet her in person, you will see she is so sweet…can’t imagine her to be a boxer.”
She furthered added, “There is a lot of training going on for it. I hope I can pull it off.”
Before starting her training for this role, Priyanka took to twitter to tell us how hard she will be working for this role, “Now off to work big day today. Start my training for Mary Kom dreading going to the gym! Between the killer dance steps n gym im gonna die!”
