14may_xpose5reasonsWith just two days to go until the biggest musical extravaganza The Xpose releases, here are our five reasons why you should watch the film.

1) Himesh Reshammiya

Music Director, Composer, Singer, Actor and Producer Himesh Reshammiya is back with his seventh film as an actor. Not only has Himesh reinvented himself for this film, but he has also lost a massive 20kgs of weight to give this super sleek avatar of a suspended cop turned music superstar Ravi Kumar. Himesh has had a very positive response to his new look and in turn, he has also inspired other people to take control of their eating habits. Himesh has written the story, screenplay and music of the film. A man who constantly keeps improving himself surely deserves praise for bringing back the magical 60’s era on screen. The film is produced by Himesh’s Father Vipin Reshammiya.

2) The Music

Himesh is primarily known for giving us hit after hit with his music (he is the first ever Music Director to have given 36 hits in a row) and the music of The Xpose is no exception. As mentioned in our last article, the song Dard Dilo Ke has gone viral on social media and is currently riding high in the charts. The song has also received accolades from actresses Raveena Tandon and Kainaat Arora who have expressed their love for the song via social media. The entire album has songs for every music lover and also features Himesh with Punjabi rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh. The music truly reminds us of the 1960’s era. Two of the songs (Dard Dilo Ke & Surroor) have been shot in Paris and they will be a visual treat to watch on the silver screen.

3) Ananth Mahadevan

The Xpose has been directed by National Award winning director Ananth Mahadevan. Ananth has given us hit Bollywood films like Aksar, The Train and Dil Maange More. Thriller films are his genre and he also has a special part as an actor in The Xpose – definitely not to be missed! His dialogue from The Xpose: ‘Na Dance, Na Expression Na Pose…Sirf Xpose’ is already a rage amongst cinema lovers.

4) Yo Yo Honey Singh

Punjabi rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh is making his Bollywood acting debut with The Xpose. Honey plays the role of Kenny Damania who has shades of grey in his character. Honey is thrilled to be working in this film with Himesh and he also features in 3 songs as a singer/rapper in the film.

5) The Glitzy & Glamorous 1960’s era

The Xpose is a fast paced murder mystery where there is one murder and eleven suspects. The film is set against the backdrop of Bollywood cinema in the 1960’s where film actors lived their lives off screen in the same manner as when they are on-screen. The dialogues are larger than life, and so is the behaviour of the characters. The leading ladies of the film are Zoya Afroz (former Miss India runner up) & Sonali Raut (Model). Seasoned actors Irrfan Khan and Aadil Hussain also make special appearances in the film. After a lot of research by the team, real life incidents from the 1960’s have also been included in The Xpose. The Xpose is a 2 hour fast paced movie which keeps you glued to the screen. It is an edge-of-the-seat thriller which will keep you guessing until the end.

We hope these 5 reasons will definitely make you excited to watch The Xpose this Friday 16th. The film is releasing across India & Pakistan.
