Bollywood fans all over will be celebrating Eid with Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor this weekend as the much-awaited Bajrangi Bhaijaan hits theaters. Here are 5 great reasons to look out for this huge release!
It’s Salman Khan’s first production venture. Bajrangi Bhaijaan is the first production of Salman’s production house, Salman Khan Films. We’re excited to see how this new production role for Salman may have impacted his performance or the film’s storyline.
We’ll get to see exotic locations. In addition to scenes in Rajasthan and old Delhi, the movie was also filmed in many unexplored parts of beautiful Kashmir. The gorgeous scenery will make an excellent backdrop to a story about the lead actors traveling across India.
Sallu and Bebo are back together. We already know from movies like Kyon Ki and Bodyguard that Salman and Kareena make an excellent on-screen couple. Their chemistry will surely be something to look forward to in Bajrangi Bhaijaan!
The music is fierce. The upbeat track “Selfie Le Le Re” is already smashing the music charts. Composed by Pritam, the album also boasts songs from artists like Atif Aslam, Adnan Sami and Mika Singh, meaning we get quite a diverse range of music!
The story is about a beautiful bond. Bajrangi Bhaijaan is about a young mute girl from Pakistan (played by child actress Harshaali) who is lost in India and needs to find her way back. It is clear from the trailers that we’ll see a beautiful bond form between Salman’s character and the little girl as he helps her get home.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan, directed by Kabir Khan, hits theaters on July 17.
