Fans were excited when they heard about Imran Khan’s new film with Kidnap director Sanjay Gadhvi titled 7 Days in Paris. The romantic film was originally also going to star Katrina Kaif and be shot on the streets of Paris. However, then there were reports that Kaif backed out of the film and Genelia D’Souza was going to replace her. Now it seems the project has been shelved and will not be made.
Imran recently confirmed that the film will no longer be made, addressing his fans, he said, “The film has officially been shelved, which means that it won’t be happening. This is a fairly common thing in the industry, and there’s a lots of reasons that this happens. In this case, there were a number of problems which ultimately led to us all mutually deciding not to go ahead with the film.
“So, as it stands, my next project is Punit’s film, currently titled I Hate Luv Storys. The title is spelled that way for numerological reasons. Personally, I’m a believer in Hindi titles, as I think they make your film more accessible, so I’m pushing for a change. It’s being taken under consideration, and if anyone out there has a good suggestion, please let us know. You can always twitter it to Punit or Karan. In fact, please do,” says Imran.
