As the release of Singh is Kinng approaches, the industry is expecting a blockbuster from day one with people getting extremely charged about the film. Recently revealed is that eight promo’s will be unveiled with the film, a record of sorts! The following are the eight trailers expected:
1. Chandni Chowk to China (Dir: Nikhil Advani)
Cast: Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Ranvir Shorey
Although the trailer was revealed with ‘The Dark Night’ almost a week ago, it will also be shown before SIK. So far, the trailer has been appreciated all over and it looks like Akshay has another blockbuster coming up!
2. The Last Lear (Dir: Rituparno Ghosh)
Cast: Amitabh Bachchan, Preity Zinta, Arjun Rampal, Shefali Shah, Divya Dutta
A year after it premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival to a great response, this film is gearing up for a release. I can personally attest to the fact that it has one of Bachchan’s most powerful performances ever and will be a treat for fans looking for something different!
3. Victory (Dir: Ajit Pal)
Cast: Harman Baweja, Amrita Rao
Though Harman Baweja’s debut didn’t do well, he already has another release coming up with Amrita Rao who will be seen after a large gap. The film is centred around cricket and will show Harman playing the game with many famous cricketers!
4. Kidnap (Dir: Sanjay Gadhvi)
Cast: Imran Khan, Minissha Lamba and Sanjay Dutt
Hot off the Dhoom series, Sanjay Gadhvi is back with one of the most talked about casts. This film is a suspense thriller and is creating tremendous buzz.
5. Chamku (Dir: Kabeer Kaushik)
Cast: Bobby Deol and Priyanka Chopra
Though it isn’t as hyped up as the rest, many are still excited to see Bobby Deol in action with this flick that sees Dharmendra come back to producing films!
6. Heroes (Dir: Samir Karnik)
Cast: Preity Zinta, Salman Khan, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Riya Sen, Dino Morea, Mithun Chakraborty and Amrita Arora
A film with several stories woven into one, this film is particularly exciting for its exciting cast and the fact that it promises something different from the mundane films we’re so used to seeing.
7. Hello (Dir: Atul Agnihotri)
Cast: Sohail Khan, Gul Panag, Sharman Joshi, Isha Kopikkar, Amrita Arora
Based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel titled ‘One Night @ The Call Centre’ this one’s another multistarrer that boasts of fresh actors. It is currently gearing up for a September release.
8. TV Channel: Colours
Studio 18’s sister company Colours, a new TV channel, will also have a promo of its own. This very channel airs Akshay’s “Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi”!
