A spectacular 120 Bahadur music album launch held at Mumbai’s iconic Royal Opera House

The makers of 120 Bahadur went to 11 with the celebrations hosting a spectacular music album launch at Mumbai’s iconic Royal Opera House. The grand event was attended by director Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai, producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, actor Raashii Khanna, along with composers Amit Trivedi, Salim–Sulaiman, singers Sukhwinder Singh, Javed Ali, Asees Kaur and Javed Akhtar.

While the teaser and the first song, ‘Dada Kishan Ki Jai’, have already set the tone, Excel Entertainment and Trigger Happy Studios’ upcoming war drama is enhanced by the music that brings to the forefront the many shades of courage, sacrifice, and emotion. From patriotic fervour to heartfelt emotion and unwavering determination, through its complete music album captures the core spirit of the film.

120 Bahadur recounts the extraordinary courage of 120 Indian soldiers from the 13 Kumaon Regiment, who fought heroically in the legendary Battle of Rezang La during the 1962 war. Farhan Akhtar stars as Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, PVC, leading his men through one of the most defining moments in Indian military history. At its heart, the film echoes one unwavering line — Hum Peechhe Nahin Hatenge.

The grand event was attended by director Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai, producer Ritesh Sidhwani and producer and actor Farhan Akhtar, Raashii Khanna, Amit Trivedi, Salim–Sulaiman, Sukhwinder Singh, Javed Ali, Asees Kaur, Subhadeep Das Chowdhury, Chirag Kotwal, Utkarsh Wankhede, Amjad, Nadeem, Aamir, Sparsh, Brijesh Karanwal, Sahib Verma, Atul Singh, Devendra Ahirwar, Dhanveer Singh, Ashutosh Shukla, Ankit Siwach, Digvijay Pratap, Vivan Bhatena, Ajinkya, and Eijaz Khan and Javed Akhtar joined the evening to celebrate the music that brings the spirit of 120 Bahadur alive.

The album is a soulful jukebox that encapsulates what 120 Bahadur stands for.

‘⁠Dada Kishan Ki Jai’, sung by Sukhwinder Singh, with lyrics by Javed Akhtar and music by Salim–Sulaiman, has already resonated deeply with audiences.

The newly launched tracks include ‘Main Hoon Woh Dharti Maa’, sung by Shreya Ghoshal, with lyrics by Javed Akhtar and music by Amit Trivedi.

‘Yaad Aate Hain’, performed by Subhadeep Das Chowdhury, Chirag Kotwal, and Utkarsh Wankhede, is another moving addition, written by Javed Akhtar and composed by Amit Trivedi.

The album also features ‘Naine Ra Lobhi’, sung by Javed Ali and Asees Kaur, penned by Javed Akhtar and composed by Amjad Nadeem Aamir.
