The production house that gave Indian cinema some of its most prominent releases in recent years such as the cult drama flick Dil Chahta Hai, the innovative take on the classic Don and of course Indian first rock film Rock On!! is now working on a film once again with the director of Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd, Reema Kagti. The film was making news for several reasons, one of was the combination of Aamir Khan with Excel Entertainment (owned by Farhan Akhtar and Ritiesh Sidhwanni) after the blockbuster Dil Chahta Hai.
However, sadly for fans and the makers fate had other plans as Aamir is no longer part the project. Many speculations of why he opted out were floating, but Ritiesh spoke to the media and cleared out the confusion. The producer told Mumbai Mirror, “Yes it is true that we were working on the film with Aamir and were supposed to start it but now it is not happening”. In reference to Aamir’s exit the producer said, “I don’t want to get into all this but yes he had demands which were not acceptable to me. We are now speaking to another actor. That’s how he works. All I can say is that there were certain reasons for us not working together. We will now announce the film at the right time.”
