Just two days before the release of his latest film, Talaash, actor Aamir Khan visited Meerut, the pulp fiction center of India.
The fact that Meerut is the ‘crime writing hub’ of the country, of course, fascinated Aamir Khan. When the 47-year-old actor learnt about Meerut and also that there are some great pulp fiction writers out there, he decided to head towards the city in Uttar Pradesh.
The 3 Idiots actor met Ved Prakash Sharma, a well-known writer there. He had a long chat with him and went through his novels, discussed and learned more about the suspense genre.
It was not just the Talaash effect but apparently Aamir as a person has always been interested in everything related to suspense.
