As the UK eagerly awaits the release of the comical drama Peepli [Live], it seems Aamir Khan has received a very Royal invitation from the heir to the throne.
It has been reported that Khan, along with his other half Kiran, has been invited to dine with Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles. The gathering is said to be an intimate one at the Royal residence of Marlborough House in London.
Khan is thought to have been honoured by the invitation and has accepted the Prince’s kind offer. There are just a handful of Bollywood celebrities who have had the pleasure and honour of such a Royal invite such as Padmini Kolhapure and the original “Bad Man” Gulshan Grover.
Khan is set to fly to the Toronto Film Festival next week where his wife, Kiran’s, film Dhobi Ghat is going to be screened. Following this, he will then make his way to London for an exclusive BBC Asian Network “Audience With” event hosted by the debonair duo Raj&Pablo which takes place on 15th September.
Khan is also expected to be in London on 24 September to mark the official UK release of Peepli [Live].
