The first look for popular stylist-turned-actress Pernia Qureshi’s debut film Jaanisaar is out now. It features the actress in a close embrace with her co-star – Pakistani heart throb – Imraan Abbas Khan. She looks peaceful and resplendent in a gorgeous red ensemble as she holds him lovingly. Directed by renowned film maker Muzzaffar Ali, Jaanisaar is set against the backdrop of the pre-independence era and the talented debutant will be sporting attires that reflect the magic of that era.
Pernia, who is known for her styling of Sonam Kapoor in Aisha and her online retail store Pernia’s Pop-up Shop, has been excited about the film since the beginning. The actress has also shifted base to Mumbai to concentrate on her Bollywood career.
She is ready for a power packed year ahead and is happy that her fans have loved the first look of the film.
