Adivi Sesh talks with Subhash K Jha about turning 41, a hint about his new film Dacoit, and what is on the horizon in 2026.
Sesh, how did you spend you special day?
I think it’s just a matter of spending time with friends and family. That’s exactly how we brought it in last night. I was getting video calls left and right, but I had a bunch of my near and dear friends around me and my Dad. And I was just hugging everybody as much as I could.
Your fans want to know when you’re getting married?
Marriage is definitely not on the cards right now. And, uh, I think I just need to focus making Dacoit at the moment.
It’s taking longer than expected to be completed?
It took a little bit longer to be completed because it’s a very ambitious film. It’s a highly emotional film. We’re shooting two different films for Dacoit because once it’s a proper Telugu film, but it’s a proper Hindi film, not to mention my injury.
How do you look back on 2025 and ahead at 2026?
I think 2025 was the year that prepped everything for 2026. God willing, 2026 is going to be my year.
