Kambakkht Ishq has an all star cast including Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Aftab Shivdasani and even has a special appearance by Rocky himself Sylvester Stallone. In the film Aftab plays Akshay’s brother and like Akshay he is also a stuntman. Aftab had to do some pretty dangerous stunts for the film and in an interview with Subhash K. Jha he revealed a bit about the film including that Sylvester Stallone was a “pleasure to work with.”

About his role Aftab said, “I play Akshay Kumar’s sibling. We both play stuntmen. So it kind of runs in the family and it’s a family that runs fast. The role requires considerable physical skill and energy.”

The film is being shot on location at Universal Studios in Los Angeles and to prepare for the role of a stuntman Aftab had to train very hard. “The stunts are dangerous. But everything is so professional here in Hollywood. Safety while doing action scenes is top priority not just for the lead stars but also for the stuntmen. Otherwise, the experience of working at Universal is no different from the studios back home,” he added.

In the pipeline for Aftab is Acid Factory, Aloo Chaat and Indra Kumar’s Daddy Cool. The talented actor is also trying his hand at being a producer/actor in a film directed by Glen.

Kambakkht Ishq is scheduled for release in December and we will keep you up to date on all the news so check back here often!
