The romantic drama Tadap, directed by Milan Luthria, is ready to release on the big screen on December 3rd. The film stars Tara Sutaria and features Ahan Shetty in his debut film.
A Sajid Nadiadwala produced film Tadap is a Hindi remake of the 2018 Telugu film RX 100. Based in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, it is the dramatic love story of Ishana and Ramisa. As their passionate romance brews, Ishana falls madly in love with Ramisa, but things change. What seemed to be a straightforward relationship gets hit by an unexpected twist, and nothing seems to be going right for the star-crossed lovers. When things seem almost overwhelming in their finality, it is how Ishana copes with the ending forms the soul of this intense love story.
Stacey caught up with both Tara Sutaria and Ahan Shetty on Zoom for a fantastic conversation about Tadap. Both Tara and Ahan went in-depth into the intriguing process of how they became Ishana and Ramisa. Here is a hint: they actually only had the script for a bit; director Milan Luthria wanted them to develop a connection to make sure their reactions and the relationship on-screen felt really real. One of the most fascinating answers was that they both talked about how the comfort they developed during the workshops helped them in the happy and then the intense scenes and to feed off each other and bring out their best performances. Both Ahan and Tara say that the audience will be very surprised and maybe even shocked at how Tadap plays out until the last scene fades to black. To find out why they say and to hear all their amazing answers about working on Tadap plus so much more hit play!
Thank you so much, Tara Sutaria and Ahan Shetty, for the fascinating and fabulous conversation.
