The rumors mills are buzzing once again or is it as always and this time the story making the rounds is that Raveena Tandon averted a clash between Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Karisma Kapoor at Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s dinner party for the Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-Moon. Well, as rumors generally are, this one is So false!
Though all three lovely ladies were in attendance at the party no such “almost meeting and then Raveena stepping in to avert a problem” ever happened because Aishwarya was there for a special round table discussion, she did not stay for the dinner party.
A source who was at the event told us exclusively, “Obviously the news is false. Aiswharya was invited for the round table discussion that was held before the dinner at 7. The only people that she met were part of the round table and that included the Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-Moon, and representatives from UNICEF, WHO, UNAIDS and the industry reps which included Aamir, Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, Smriti Irani, Mukesh and Neeta Ambani.”
Adding, “She stayed for a bit for dinner because the hosts and the secretary general insisted and then rushed home to be with her baby.”
