Prepare to be courted by some of the most loveable names of the Indian film industry as they unite in a sassy multi-starrer, Thank You, releasing in cinemas on 8th April 2011 by UTV Motion Pictures across UK and worldwide.
Produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Hari Om Entertainment Company, Thank You is a film that lifts the lid on extramarital affairs. Filmed in Canada, maestro of comedy Akshay Kumar is at the helm of a powerhouse of screen talent that includes fellow stars Sonam Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Irrfan Khan, Suneil Shetty, Celina Jaitley and Rimi Sen in a battle of the sexes which will transform matrimony to acrimony. After the staggering Box Office success of Singh is Kinng and the earlier Welcome, the superstar Akshay Kumar teams up once more with much-loved comedy director Anees Bazmee for another surefire hit which will have audiences in stitches well after the end credits roll.
Audiences will also be indulged by a hypnotic item number delivered by the showgirl of Indian cinema, Mallika Sherawat, in the infectiously catchy ‘Razia’ – part of a memorable collection of songs that comprise musical maverick Pritam’s chart-topping soundtrack.
Check out what the story is all about! Raj, Yogi and Vikram are best friends, business partners, serial womanisers and happily married. Happy, because their naive wives have no clue that their husbands cannot resist the temptation of a flutter of the eyelids. This picture perfect world is rocked when Raj’s wife, Sanjana, begins to suspect her husband’s infidelity and hires the suave private detective, Kishan, to tail him. Kishan has built his reputation as a man who saves marriages by getting erring husbands to mend their ways. In this particular case, however, his overwhelming attraction towards Sanjana means he may not be acting with the best of intentions. What follows is a crazy cat and mouse game, with Kishan trying to catch the husbands engaged in misdemeanours and mischief as they try to mislead him off their trail.
Thank You is an honest film about dishonesty which will be loved by and identifiable to audiences, continuing with the signature style we have come to expect from the winning combination of Akshay Kumar and Anees Bazmee.
Witness the magic and mischief of marriage when Thank You releases in cinemas across UK and worldwide on 8th April 2011 by UTV Motion Pictures and Hari Om Entertainment Company.
