Already renowned for elaborate stunts and his phenomenal prowess in martial arts, Akshay Kumar looks set to hone his parkour skills with the help of French stuntman, Cyril Raffaelli. An image of the two together has been posted by Akshay on the set of his next explosive film, Baby. The international superstar expressed his delight at working with such a big name in the parkour world.
“Guess who?? On the sets of my next thriller #Baby. This is my only hint. He’s a God in my parkour world.”
Akshay Kumar is no stranger to the French practice of free running, having previously admitted to regularly taking part in the exercise. Raffaelli, who has worked on the sets of Die Hard 4.0, The Incredible Hulk and District 13, has been reportedly working with Akshay Kumar to develop his parkour skills even further.
Much of the filming for Baby has taken place in Nepal, but the majority of the action scenes were shot in Istanbul. With such breath-taking scenery and bustling streets, we can expect some intense free running scenes in a dense, obstacle filled environment.
Contrary to the film’s title, Baby promises to be a high octane thriller and with Rafaelli on board, we can be sure that this film will be no walk in the park for Akshay.
Baby is due to be released on 23rd January 2015.
