Break Away will be directed by Robert Lieberman and written by Vinay Virmani, who also happens to be the lead in the film. The cast will also include Canadian-based comedian, Russell Peters.
Said to be an English-Punjabi film, other actors who may be signed for the project include 1000 BC actress, Camilla Belle and Rob Lowe of TV series Brothers & Sisters fame.
Production has begun and the film will be released in 2011.
