The star of 2025 Akshaye Khanna has chosen to remain completely aloof from his newly renewed stardom. He has also moved quietly into a new home in Chennai without fanfare, and without the presence of family or friends during the house-warming ceremony.
Confirming this, a co-star of Akshaye Khanna from Dhurandhar says, “None of us was invited to his new home, not even director Aditya Dhar. And we are neither surprised nor disappointed. Throughout the shooting Akshaye barely said a hello to any of us. He didn’t engage in a conversation with anyone , and hardly spoke anything except his lines on camera.”
The co-star confirms that Akshaye’s iconic dance move was not scripted. “Just before the shot he asked (director) Aditya Dhar if he could do the jig in his entry scene. Aditya agreed. And now that has become a craze. Akhaye likes to surprise everyone, including himself.”
Coming back to Akshaye Khanna’s home, the sprawling bungalow was purchased long before the release of Dhurandhar. The actor’s residence-shift has nothing to do with the success of Dhurandhar. He will stay all alone with a skeletal staff in his new home, just as he used to in his earlier home.
