Amisha Patel has been recently in the news as her relationship with director Vikram Bhatt has broken-off. The actress claims that she is very single and ready to mingle! In between the talks, Amisha has been asked on what she doesn’t like about Bollywood wherein she replied, “The long hours, the make up, the filthy sets- the hot filthy sets, living out of suitcases. The fact that your private life is not private anymore. They make you be a demi God so everything that you do that is good is exaggerated, as is if you do something wrong… and they expect you to be a diva all the time… and they forget that stars like any normal person are normal, we just have a really public profession. We have bad hair days, bad skin days, we cry, we laugh, we feel, exactly like any other person. We are not picture perfect- we are flawed as well and that is something everyone must remember all the thousands of people that idolize us- we are not perfect and we are human beings just like everyone. Expecting you to be perfect all the time is a very hard task”.
She has also added up some facts on her Yash Raj/Kunal Kohli project, wherein she will be seen along with Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji, that she plays a comic role as people want to see more of her comic side especially after comic capers she has done recently that include Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. & Bhool Bhulaiyaa which were box office hits! She plays a fairly innocent girl as well as a young, modern day character. She adds that she has cut her hair but not too short as she would never allow someone to do that since she is very fond of her long locks. The film is very new of its genre and is fresh, fun family entertainer and it has a completely new and different looks compared to films released in the past few months. It is currently under production and will most probably release on May/June 2008.
Talking about Ami’s forthcoming projects, she has been lined-up with another interesting project titled Lucky 2 along with Govinda, Tusshar Kapoor and Upen Patel which will be directed by Neeraj Vora and produced by Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd. The film has gone on floors last week and will be soon starting its filming. Amy baby reveals that if things work out, she will be working with Bollywood’s King Khan – Shahrukh Khan next year… Watch this space for more!
