Coming up on August 12th, is Prakash Jha’s socio-political film Aarakshan. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, Manoj Bajpayee and Prateik. All along we have been giving you some exclusive tidbits about the film and now we have some more interesting trivia for you from the set!
On the set of Aarakshan Mr. Bachchan encouraged the cast and the crew to go Green. The esteemed actor introduced the importance of paper recycling along with other ways of keeping the set eco friendly. While working with the assistant directors of Aarakshan, he was very particular about the amount of paper that was being used as call sheets etc, thus he saved all the paper given to him and his staff and handed back to recycle.
Apparently, Prakash Jha was quite impressed with Big B going green and made it a practice for his team and productions. We surely need to learn from such role models for a better and secure future.
