Superstar Amitabh Bachchan will soon travel to Chennai to promote Eros International’s Shamitabh directed by R. Balki and as a special treat to his fans there, Bachchan will speak in Tamil at the film’s promotional press conference.
This will be the first time that the superstar will be heard speaking the language both on and off screen and has already started learning a few lines to interact with the locals there.
As soon as Mr. Bachchan heard that he will be visiting the city down south to promote the film along with Dhanush & Akshara Haasan, he informed the team that he would be keen to interact with the audience in their language.
The actors and director R. Balki are also set to visit London next week to take part in a series of promotional events.
Shamitabh releases in UK cinemas through Eros International on 6th February 2015.
