This season two celebs tied the knot, Ayesha Takia and Amrita Arora. However, it is the latter of the brides who’s making the news for her spectacular event. Amrita Arora, sister of Malaika Arora Khan, hosted a sizzling sangeet where the biggest names of the industry were seen shaking a leg including our favourite Saifeena.
Although who else should make the headlines when the King Khan was there! It is indeed Shah Rukh’s appearance at the sangeet that took everyone by surprise because the event was literally on Salman Khan’s turf. For the lesser informed readers, let us take you to the family tree and explain that Amrita Arora is sister of ‘Chaiya Chaiya’ gal Malaika Arora Khan who is married to Salman’s brother Arbaaz Khan. So one can imagine what a surprise this was, keeping in mind the huge fallout the two khans had at Katrina’s birthday bash last year. Reports also are making rounds that whilst leaving the bungalow Salman was hounded by reporters asking him about Shah Rukh and his patch up, and it was at this moment that Salman lost his temper. Eye witnesses reported to Mumbai Mirror that the actor was seen leaving in an auto rickshaw despite arriving in a Mercedes!
Well even though the two Khans didn’t exchange any words at the event, it says a lot that SRK still honoured Amrita’s invitation. Way to be the bigger man Shah Rukh!
