One of the questions that everyone has been asking is, “What will be the title of Siddharth Anand’s film for Yash Raj?” There have been several titles that have been talked about in connection with the project but the final title was still unknown. We can now report that the title for the film starring Ranbir Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Minissha Lamba and Deepika Padukone is Bachna Ae Haseenon.
Though Rishi Kapoor did “sing” ‘Bachna aei haseenon lo main aa gaya’ in Nasir Husain’s Hum Kisise Kum Nahi, Ranbir said that there was no connection between the song and the title of the movie. “But I don’t think we decided to name the film Bachna Ae Haseenon to suggest a link with my past. Sure, the song was a big R.D. Burman chartbuster in its time. My dad, mom and I are all huge fans of R.D. Burman. My parent’s biggest hits were composed by R.D. But more than the instant connectivity, I think the title was selected because it’s very apt for my film. It’s about this guy’s journey in life and his different encounters with various women,” he explained.
