Often referred to as Anil Kapoor’s son and Sonam Kapoor’s baby bro, Harshvardhan Kapoor is set to make his entrance into the Bollywood film industry. The 21 year old will be launched in Mirza Sahiba by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. As its confirmed Rakeysh has said that “We needed a fresh face and I liked Harsh, as he has the fierce intensity of a lover in him, combined with an innocent softness in his eyes”.
In fact Gulzar bhai started writing the script three years ago and, it was ready before Bhaag Milkha Bhaag was set to hit the stage. The story is said to be a love tragedy base with a contemporary feel. Although Harshvardhan has expressed more interest in screenplay and writing, after he finishes up assisting Anurag Kashyap on Bombay Velvet , Harshvardhan will show us how he can handle being in front of the camera.
Shooting is set to start in 2014 as the female lead; Sahiba is yet to be found.
