Well known journalist and Film critic, Anupama Chopra launched her new book, ‘100 films to see before you die’ in the company of film director, Zoya Akhtar. Anupama’s previous works include ‘King of Bollywood’ on the life and times of none other than King Khan Shah Rukh and ‘Sholay, the making of a classic’ for which she won the ‘2000 national film award’. Her latest book gives the reader an insight of 100 movies to watch to qualify you as true movie buff.
The event had Zoya revealing her favorite movies which included Godfather, All About Eve, Annie hall and Chinatown. The film director indulged in tête-à-tête with Anupama and spoke on her views about her definition for entertainment that involved anything that sucks her into the story and not just movies that make her laugh.
Anupama and Zoya actively discussed various genres of movies and their views on the latest releases.
