With social media being all the rage, Karan Johar, who is a regular on Twitter, recently confirmed casting Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt for Abhishek Varman’s 2 States.
The Student of the Year debutante, Alia, is playing a Tamilian girl in the film, for which she is not only working hard on the right accent, but is also keenly learning the make do’s of a typical Tamilian household.
The storyline of this film is based on Chetan Bhagat’s 2 States, which was about a Punjabi boy and a Tamilian girl’s love story and marriage. The shooting of the film began on 29th January, after official confirmation.
2 states will be directed by Abhishek Varman and produced by Karan Johar and Sajid Nadiadwala. We are sure Alia and Arjun will be a pair to look out for!
